Pantelleria and the National Park
The last National Park created in Italy in July 2016, Pantelleria represents the only Sicilian example of a national park. It is a particular park that focuses entirely on the synergy between the natural environment and the anthropic environment. The Pantelleria area has in fact been shaped over the years by the agricultural culture which, with terraces, has allowed the spread of crops such as zibibbo and capers in such a wild land, such as the volcanic territory of the island of Pantelleria.
This tour proposal will touch on all those uniquenesses that drove the birth of the Pantelleria National Park and which today constitute its true strong point, making it an island that does not live by the sea alone. You will discover it by discovering the true soul of the island, that of its ancestral territory.
